The Yukon NVMT Spartan 3x42 Weapon Kit was designed to be a multi-purpose device intended for hand-held observation or as a short range night vision weapon scope suitable for close quarters pest control.

The kit is made up of a NVMT Spartan 3x42 monocular (with all the features and functions common to all NVMT Spartan models) together with a Rifle Conversion Kit comprising a Weaver Rifle Mount, inter-changeable Rifle Eyepiece and a Yukon-1 Laser Aimer with remote paddle switch, all in one complete kit carry case and full colour box.

The unit can be configured with the standard eyepiece when used as a hand-held monocular or if mounted on a weapon with little or no recoil, giving a 3.0x system magnification. However, for larger calibre weapons with recoil, the long eye relief rifle eyepiece (0.5x magnification) must be used to avoid ‘scope eye’ injuries, resulting in a reduced 1.5x system magnification.

Since the NVMT Spartan does not have a built-in reticle, a Yukon-1 Laser Aimer provides an active red dot aiming mark (visible as a bright dot through the device) which can be zeroed and is secured by a bracket in the mount.

The Yukon NVMT Spartan 3x42 Weapon Kit features a soft touch green/black sure-grip ABS plastic bodyshell with partial rubber armouring and a built-in IR illuminator to enhance performance in very low light or total darkness.

Operational status LED’s illuminate green for the image intensifier tube and red for the IR illuminator, helping to preserve battery life and serving to alert the user should the device accidently be switched or left on. Each unit is individually serial numbered and has numerous accessory options for even greater versatility.
